HealthConnect Adds Vermont to Its Online Quoting Platform through Partnership with MVP Health Care
(January 8, 2008) – MVP Health Care has extended its partnership with HealthConnect, with the addition of the state of Vermont to its online quoting platform. MVP’s small group rate, benefit and provider information as well as its health forms for the state of Vermont will now be available on the HealthConnect multi-carrier quoting platform, the leading source of small group rate and benefit information for brokers in the United States.
Additionally, a branded, proprietary online quoting platform for MVP Health Care, produced by HealthConnect, will allow Vermont brokers to calculate rates directly from MVP’s website .
“The significance of this partnership is that Vermont, which now increases our presence to 18 states, not only adds another proprietary portal to our portfolio but it also opens up a new market for our quoting platform and HRConnect, an online, integrated human resource and benefits administration system,” said JP Galaris, Director of Sales for the Northeast Region. “We are excited to be expanding our footprint in a completely new state and further entrenching ourselves as the standard.”

HealthConnect quoting platform enables health insurance brokers to produce real-time quotes through two quoting paths, and provides them with additional tools, such as saving batches of plans for easy quoting; creating and printing reports in multiple styles; combining, storing, faxing or emailing directly from the system; performing physician searches and network analysis; and easily adding forms and documents to their proposals.
A branded proprietary online quoting platform enables health insurance carriers to provide their brokers with the ability to quote their clients, using current rates and benefits information, directly from the carrier’s website.
