HealthConnect Systems Partners with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey to Enable Online Enrollment through Quoting Portal
(April 23, 2008) – HealthConnect has partnered with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) to enable Horizon BCBSNJ’s Master Brokers to submit small group health and dental plans electronically through HealthConnect’s General Agent Portal, eliminating the need for duplicate entry.
This new enhancement features a link to "Horizon NJ Enrollment” accessible from the Client Profile screen on HealthConnect quoting platform, which seamlessly submits health and/or dental quotes directly to Horizon BCBSNJ’s Internet Group Enrollment (IGE) system and links the broker directly to Horizon BCBSNJ’s website to complete the group application. This feature allows a seamless submission of health and dental plans without having to re-enter the group census information or having to re-quote the plan, as previously required.

HealthConnect’s quoting platform enables health insurance brokers to produce real-time quotes through two quoting paths, and provides them with additional tools, such as saving batches of plans for easy quoting; creating and printing reports in multiple styles; combining, storing, faxing or emailing directly from the system; performing physician searches and network analysis; and easily adding forms and documents to their proposals.
