Aetna Introduces New Web-based Small Group Rating Tool for Brokers Who Sell in Pennsylvania
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective immediately, Aetna (NYSE: AET - News) Small Group has launched a new web-based Small Group rating tool in Pennsylvania. Currently, brokers are able to quote Aetna Small Group products using rating disks in PA. With the introduction of this new web-based tool, it's even easier and more convenient to quote Aetna Small Group plans. This tool will enable brokers to quickly and easily obtain quotes for all of the Small Group Medical, Life and Disability products that Aetna offers in Pennsylvania.
The web-based tool has some advantages over the disk:
Benefit sheets are the same format and language as our Aetna benefit sheets.
The web can be quoted anytime anywhere
Changes are made directly to the website, so you will always have the most up to date information upon each log-in with no need to download updates.
If a group cannot be quoted on the web, the site automatically lets you send a quote request to Aetna by selecting the "Email RFQ Detail button", which will allow us to turnaround your quotes quicker.
Small Groups located in Virginia, DC and Maryland can also be quoted on this website, provided you are Licensed and Appointed in those areas

Very shortly we will be adding New Jersey to the web tool, so for now, continue using your rating disk for those quotes. Pennsylvania will still be on the disk but we recommend you use the new Web tool.
Please note: If you have not yet submitted your signed new Agent Agreement to Aetna, you will not be able to access this new web-based tool. It is important that you get your completed and signed agreement in as soon as possible. If you have completed and submitted your new Aetna Agent Agreement, and still cannot access this tool, please contact our Sales Support Center at 1-877-28-AETNA, prompt #6 for assistance.
