Empire Health Plans (WellPoint) Adopts HealthConnect’s Online Quoting System and Susbcribes to CarrierConnect
May 22, 2006: Empire Health Plans has implemented HealthConnect’s online small group quoting system and subscribed to CarrierConnect, an innovative market intelligence, competitive assessment and network analysis tool provides by HealthConnect.
“Our HealthConnect partnership provides several key advantages to Empire,” commented Jeff Graehling, Director of Small Group Sales at Empire. “A significant number of New York and New Jersey brokers use HealthConnect’s multi carrier quoting system. By adopting a system with the same “look and feel” we provide our brokers an effective quoting solution that is familiar and comfortable. In addition, CarrierConnect provides invaluable information about the quoting behavior of our broker channel and automates many competitive assessment functions we previously performed manually.”
